Something That’s Been Found

I decided long ago that I would wait for sex until marriage. People question why anyone would do that, sadly believing that sex is an introduction to a relationship, rather than a reflection of the intimacy found in that relationship. Many people have sex to try to find a great relationship, without realizing that they have it backwards. The relationship must be fostered first. In essence, sex is a physical bonus to the more important intangible elements that define a lasting relationship. I posted this quote because I think it is a great description of what sex is supposed to be. Someday I’ll be able to offer my own insight from personal experience, but that’s at least …15 or 16 months away
