Those Eyes

Here’s a poem I wrote in college.  I felt like posting it, so here it is:

Those Eyes

Behind those eyes, a spirit trembles,
So timid and so sweet.
Behind those eyes, a new hope stumbles,
But staggers to its feet.
Behind those eyes, a mind is dreaming,
Of blessings from above.
Behind those eyes, a heart is smiling;
It’s filled with joy and love.
